Special Cat Adoption Programs

Every year thousands of unwanted cats and kittens are euthanized in shelters everywhere.  The Friends believe every animal deserves a second chance for a loving home.  Often during the summer months, the cat population swells at the shelter to the point that we have no cage space left. 

During these peak periods, the Friends offer special feline adoption programs to qualified adoptors for a limited time:

• Cat Placement Program for Seniors - adoption fees 50% for a cat 1 year or older to a qualified person 50 years or older.  Read more ...

• Feline Friend for a Friend - Adopt a second cat or kitten the same day (or within 3 months) and receive a 50% on the normal adoption fee.  Read more ...

You can help prevent the euthanasia of these wonderful animals by helping to fund these special programs.
