Meet the Friends Board Members and their Pets

 The function of the Board is to:

• Exercise the corporate responsibilities and fiduciary duties consistent with applicable provisions of law

• Transact business

• Establish major administrative policies governing the affairs of FFDAS that provide for growth and development

• Institute teams and appoint team

• Review, modify, and/or approve all fund raising activities

• Coordinate, support, and monitor all volunteer activities

• Oversee the management of the Shelter facility

•  Liaison with and responsive to the City of Dearborn

• Develop an annual strategic plan including budget and monitor progress against the plan

• Determine audit and any personal bond requirements
