Good News

The July 31 Offsite for Petapalooza was a HUGE SUCCESS!!!  This was our most successful offsite.  Good Homes were found for all 4 of the dogs who went and for 12 of the 15 kittens (1 is still waiting for you).  A BIG THANK YOU Goes Out To:  Kathy Mastin (Project Leader), Heather Mehi (for Pulling it all Together), Debbie Stewart, Barb Mattison, Anna Ebi, Laura De Santis, Anne Garbus,  & Lexie Garbus (for Finding Good Homes for the Animals).

The 11^th Annual Critter Invitational held at the Dearborn Hills Golf Course on Saturday, June 12^th, 2004 raised more than $19,000 for the homeless animals cared for by the Friends For the Dearborn Animal Shelter.  The Friends would like to thank all those who made this possible.More than $19,000 was raised for the animals at the Shelter. Read the results.  Congratulations to the contest winners and many, many thanks to our generous sponsors.

• NEW Many thanks to Greg Norris, the owner of The Dive at 4822 Greenfield, just southof Hubbard.  He.had a fund raiser for us called Petstock 2004 - several bands and collected donations of food or $1.00 cover charge.  He even made up t-shirts. He brought in some food and $400.00 as a result of his efforts.
