How You Can Help:

You can help turn our green building green by becoming a Best Friend For the New Dearborn Animal Shelter. To become a Best Friend, make a financial pledge for one of the areas shown below. Once received, your area of interest will be shown in green with your name as a generous sponsor for the new building. When you make a pledge, you are giving much more than the area that bears a name. You will be recognized for years to come as someone who made a difference in the quality of care for homeless animals. All sponsors will receive recognition as a Best Friend in the new building reception lobby, as well as recognition at the sponsorship’s designated area.

This is a unique opportunity for you to make a positive difference in the lives of homeless animals and for the community. Financial Note: Funds raised through the New Shelter Capital Campaign to build and furnish a new shelter building and surrounding area are restricted to this purpose and to the New Shelter Endowment Fund. The New Shelter Endowment Fund will be funded at the rate of twenty five cents from every dollar of new shelter capital campaign revenue. These restricted funds will be invested in socially responsible instruments. All interest income earned on new shelter fund balances shall be restricted to use only for new shelter activities.
