Be a Pal - Urgent Need for Foster Care |
|
Foster care is a way to give an animal a chance without making a long-term commitment. The Shelter can be a frightening and unfortunately, sometimes unhealthy place for a cat or dog or puppy or kitten.
Your taking a animal or even a litter with the nursing mom into you home could just free up another cage for a deserving animal coming into the Shelter, or it could be to help a dog get over being afraid, or to help a litter of kittens grow up in a more healthy environment, or to provide a softer bed for an aging animal until a permanent loving home can be found. There are many ways to help.
We'll teach you how (if you don't know) to care for the cat, kittens, dog, or puppy you decide to foster. We'll also provide food, supplies, and support - including answers to any questions you might have. If you have other animals, we'll tell you how to successfully introduce your foster pet(s). Please call today to qualify to be a foster home.
