Halfway There! We are halfway to our goal of $60,000, with only a few days left. But, there is still time to register and create your Web pledge page at www.dearbornmuttstrut.com. You can also register and turn in pledges the day of the event. There is a minimum $20 donation to strut, and your dog receives a snazzy Mutt Strut bandana.

• Registration time: 9:00 to 2:00 at Ford Field in Dearborn (visit our Web page for directions)

• Walk Kick-Off: 11:00

• Remember your certificate of rabies vaccination!

Leaders of the Pack: 2007 Leader of the Pack Heather Mehi and her team, Luv-A-Bulls, have soared beyond their 2008 goal of $4,500. And newbie Sandra Alviani seems to be the individual Leader of the Pack at over $3,000. Way to go, Heather and Sandra! Leaders of the Pack (those collecting the most pledges) will be announced at 10:45 at Mutt Strut. There’s still time to give these gals a run for their money---literally!
