Third Party Events Offer Summer Fun!!

 

Third Party Events are those done by other people or businesses to benefit the work of the Friends for the animals.

June 8 - Many thanks to Merchants Fine Wine for their 11th annual Spring Tasting of wines and beers to  benefit the Friends while providing fun for the attendees.    Read more and see the photos ...

 

July 27, Sunday - If you have never been, you have to come!!!  Steve and Cindy Griffith of Dearborn Tavern throw quite a Burger Bash party -  all ages, low cost, lots of exceptional food, fun entertainment, and all the proceeds go to benefit the animals!  No advance reservation needed, read more ...

 

August 9, Saturday - Aleta Sill and Michelle Mullen are professional bowlers and they love animals so they host the Bowl-4-Animal-Rescue tournament to benefit the Friends at Country Lanes in Farmington.  Lots of fun for bowlers of all skill levels including first-timers -- put a team together and register early, the lanes fill fast!!  This is a pledge event, so start your pledge campaign!  Download the pledge form and read more ...

  Fordson
Fordson is a 3 year-old beautiful small male short-hair.  He is friendly and playful and a gentle and loving soul.  He is in our CCC and gets along well with other cats.
  Nelson
Nelson is a 1 year-old chocolate lab.  Is he not gorgeous?  Strong, playful, and likes other animals.  He loves toys and would be great with children.

If you see a stray or abused animal, please report it immediately to the local authorities or 911.  If in Dearborn, call the shelter at 313.943.2697 (you can report cruelty anonymously) or if the shelter is closed, the Dearborn police at 313.943.2800.
