Flash and Alley Gordon

Brent and Audrey Gordon adopted Flash and Erin (now named Flash and Alley) on September 2, 2005.

"We got Flash and Alley 2 weeks after we lost our precious "Puddy" Cat to kidney failure.  They have filled a huge void in our home and already bring us great joy.  Because they were both strays it took them a while to warm up to us but now they love to be by us and are always wanting more attention.  We couldn't be more pleased!"

Oliver Martin
Pamela Martin says, "Oliver Rules!"  She adopted 5 year old Oliver on December 23, 2003.  She also says that he "loves to eat".  "Oliver is a great pet, very loving and a wonderful contribution to our family."

Tiger DeShetler

Jennifer DeShetler adopted Cosmos (now named Tiger) a tabby and white kitty on September 10, 2005.  Jennifer reports that Tiger's favorite pastime  is playing with feathers and a bell on a stick cat toy.

Bingo and Vera Kolas
Nancy and Bob Kolas adopted Ms. Vera Bazooka a beautiful tabby girl in November 2004.  They describe her as a 'sweetheart'.  They adopted Bingo in March of 2004 and say she is a "gorgeous black cat...she's as tough and willful as when we first brought her home.  She loves Bob and nuzzles with him every night."  The Kolas' kitties love their cabin, "Both girls...spend all day on the front porch (screens from floor to ceiling) lounging and watching birds, bugs and other assorted critters."

Ruby Castle

Cevan Castle adopted Peralta (now named Ruby) on December 16, 2005.  "She [Ruby] loves to play chase, investigate her new house, and she especially loves her stuffed animals."  "Everyone that meets her raves about her.  We are so happy to have her!  She has a cheerful and gregarious personality, she is very intelligent, she loves to cuddle, she loves car rides and going to the store (especially if there is food involved), and she is exceptionally beautiful."

Cleo Crimm

Cleo, a 4 year old kitty,  was adopted by Gregory Crimm.  Gregory says, "Since I brought Cleo home, she seems very happy.  When I come home from work she likes to sit in my lap.  She has made me happy since she has come into my life. Thank you for letting me adopt her."

hopefully picture coming soon

Tanigree McKean

Karen McKean writes to tell us about her adopted cat,  Tanigree.  "Tanigree has made us very happy.  He is truly spoiled and the King of the house."  Tanigree lives with another cat (Hurley) and a dog (Emma) all of which Karen opened her heart and her home to rescue them.  Karen says, "The 3 of our animals all love each other.  Emma, the dog will clean the cats face and they all sleep together.  I am happy to give them all a good, loving home and wish that for every animal.  If I could I would save them all."

Jenna and Chelsea Vreeland

Sandy and Harry Vreeland adopted Jenna and Sadie (now called Chelsea) on May 27, 2006.  They say, "We fell in love with 'the girls' at first sight.  They are such a perfect match for us, (thanks to the people in Dearborn) with very loving personalities."  Jenna and Chelsea enjoy 'kongs' stuffed with treats, daily walks and playing with each other.

Louie Gorman

Claudia Gorman says, "Louie's favorite toy is his squeaker ball.  He loves to play fetch with it."  Eric and Claudia Gorman adopted Louie (formerly John Boy) on May 17, 2006.  They say, " Louie is very loving, playful and full of personality.  We are still working on some behavior problems.  But we are taking obedience classes and making progress.  Despite the pain and trauma Louie endured before he was rescued, he is a happy, friendly dog."

Silva Hamilton

Debbie and Todd Hamilton adopted China (now known as Silva) on March 18, 2006 and reports that she is doing great!  They say, "she is very active and always darting around the house.  Nothing scares her and she explores and checks everything out.  Silva's favorite place to lay is in the sun and on us.  She seems very appreciative to be here (one of the many benefits of adopting an adult cat).  Her favorite toys are her fake mice and balls of yarn.  She follows me around the house and she comes when we call her.  She is Awesome! We are totally in love with her!  Adopting an adult cat was an awesome thing to do.  We have all the fun of a new love without the fuss of kitten stuff.  I hope more people decide to adopt adult cats. They make awesome friends and loves.  Thank you for giving us the approval to adopt Silva!  She is sweetest and cutest little cat ever!"
