Share Your Happy Tail With Us!

Thank you for adopting from the Dearborn Animal Shelter.  Once you’ve gotten to know your new pet,  please share your YOUR "happy tail” and have your pet’s picture(s) and story featured on our website.  In addition, you may also request that your pet be considered to appear in one of our Paw Prints publications - our quarterly print newsletter or our eNews.     

You have two (2) easy options to do this:

1.    Submit via email –
    - Copy the information below into a Word document or directly into an email. 

Your name: Type of pet adopted (please place an "X" by your answer:     Cat  -or-    Dog   -or-     Other Date of adoption:     /        /     Pet’s “shelter name”:  Pet’s NEW name (if you changed it): Pet’s current age: Your pet’s new hometown: Your pet's favorite toy or activity? Tell us anything else you want to share about your new pet? Can we mention your name on the website?       Yes  -or-   No Would you like your pet's story and photo to appear in one of our Paw Prints publications?  Yes  -or-   No Should we have a question about your form and to notify you when your Happy Tail is published to the website, please provide your phone number including area code:

      -  Complete the information requested above. 

      -  Attach the digital photo(s) of your pet (and the Word document if you used Word) to the email. 
- Send the email to friends-happy-tails@dearborn-animals.com

We will acknowledge the receipt of your Happy Tail and post it to the site as quickly as possible.

 

2.   Download our Happy Tails form, fill it out, and mail it along with a color photo(s) of your pet (or you and your pet!) to the address below.  Sorry, but photos cannot be returned.  Please print (or write) clearly and send the form and your photo(s) to:
